Now

This is a now page. An up-to-date list of what I’m doing or how life is going these days. It’s what I’d tell a relative or friend I haven’t seen in a long time.

Last updated on 24 Sep, 2026 from my apartment in Antipolo--where it's sunny most of the day, but when it rains, it's as if a storm is passing by (add thunderclaps!)

Doubling down on the wedding prep

My wife and I are getting busy preparing for the celebration of our wedding.

I'm assigned with coordinating with our vendors and suppliers, updating the spreadsheets, and going places to buy materials and making orders.

Growth of OptoReview

OptoReview has reached 55 users, with 3 users who bought monthly passes.

I haven't made any major changes to the app. Been busy away from my laptop (see reasons above).

I'll get back to it in mid-October. Besides, the board exams are due in the next two weeks. I doubt there would be a surge of users from now until after that. Most examinees don't start preparing for the licensure exam until six months prior the board exam date.

Wishing all of the optometry examinees the best!

On Note-taking

I'm using Bear Notes again and reverted to my original plan in transition to using built-in note-taking apps.
